Seedlings available from The Rowland Collection This section of the Casa de las Orquideas website covers the seedlings we have available from The Rowland Collection. The Rowland Collection is a small nursery specializing in miniature and novelty cymbidium hybrids, and is owned by Pat Rowland in Garden Grove, California. We grow most of the crosses for Pat and have them available at our location. The Rowland Collection seedlings are 3-inch pot size and are typically large single growth or bulb and growth. The seedlings from The Rowland Collection are priced at $10.00 each in 3" pot size. Our standard quantity discount schedule does not apply to plants from The Rowland Collection. The first line contains the hybrid number and name of the hybrid (if any). The second line is the names of the parents. The third line is the expected appearance of the flower.

Most of these should be 3 inch flowers in the various shades of pink, mostly with red lips on medium length arching spikes for February and March. Probably diploid. 05-375 Unnamed Cymbidium Hybrid (pumilum x chloranthum) '507' x (One Tree Hill x Comanche) 'Red Lip' These should be mostly yellow 2.5 inch flowers with red lips blooming in March on upright spikes. Triploid. 05-383 Unnamed Cymbidium Hybrid [(Mellow Dream x Verdemar) x California Ablaze] x Comanche 'Goldie' We think this cross will be mostly green to yellow with bright red lips blooming in March on medium arching spikes. Most of these should be yellow with red lips, but there should be some with a red overlay and possibly some oranges on medium arching spikes for February and March. These should be mostly yellow 3 inch flowers with red lips blooming on medium to long arching spikes for late March to April. This cross should be mostly in the light red to brown shades with 3" flowers blooming on arching to pendant spikes blooming in March and April.
